The Stanton County Sheriff’s office recently received a generous donation of a “FLIR” Infared night vision device from The United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association based in Wichita, KS. The handheld device is valued at more than $400.00 and has already proven itself useful in helping locate an injured teen who had suffered a serious leg while running through a dense wooded area trying to avoid law enforcement. “The USDSA has donated several thousand dollars in equipment in the past few years to the Sheriff’s office and every piece of equipment is greatly appreciated. THE USDSA supports law enforcement all over the United States.
