Norfolk Man Arrested After Traffic Stop Attempting to Dispose of Methamphetamine by Ingesting It

At about 10:10 p.m. on Saturday night the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle for speeding near the Off-Road Ranch southeast of Norfolk. Upon contacting the driver, Brad Tuttle, 57, of Norfolk it was observed he was trying to dispose of methamphetamine he had in his possession by eating it. Tuttle was immediately taken into custody and was ultimately jailed on the felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence. He was further cited for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Tuttle further faces an additional upgraded felony charge of being a Habitual Criminal. Tuttle remains in custody pending the posting of a cash bond.
