At about 8:00 p.m. on Friday night the Stanton County Sheriff’s office observed a vehicle parked along Hwy 275, north of Stanton. Two individuals associated with the vehicle were contacted and during that contact both were found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine on their person. Victoria Watkins, 32, of West Point and Michael Paris, 35, of Norfolk were placed under arrest and jailed on the felony drug charges. Both remain in custody pending the posting of bond. Their vehicle had fictitious plates and it was impounded.
