Tilden man Arrested on Felony Drug Charge

On Tuesday afternoon at about 3:40 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle on Hwy 24 just east of Norfolk for driving recklessly. While stopping the vehicle a front seat passenger threw contraband out of the vehicle window that was later located and found to be methamphetamine. The passenger Andrew Paulsen, 34, of Tilden was placed under arrest and later booked on felony charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and jailed pending the setting of bond. This is the second time in the last ten days that Paulsen was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine by the Sheriff’s office in Stanton County. The vehicle driver Timothy Payne, 57, of Norfolk was cited for Reckless Driving and Possession of Marijauna and Drug Parpahernalia.
