The Stanton County Sheriff’s office would like to thank everyone for their continued support throughout the year and especially this week where we remember fallen heroes such as Sgt. James Smith of the Iowa State Patrol, Deputies Chris Ward & Logan Fox of the Watausa County, NC Sheriff’s office and Officer Keith Heacock of the Delmar, MD Police Department who were all feloniously murdered last month in the line of duty. We strive everyday to do the best job we can and treat everyone fairly and equally under the color of law. The Thin Blue Line is often all that stands between the safety of our citizens and total anarchy. Please keep law enforcement in your thoughts and prayers in these troubling times.
